Yesterday was Kaeden's party and it was a ton of fun. Kaeden was so excited for the day. We rented a bounce house water slide for the day. I must say it was the best money I've ever spent. They came and set it up first thing in the morning... around 8am. By 9am Kaeden was asking to put his swim suit on ('just to get ready') and by 9:30 he was asking to go on the slide. I caved and let him test it out.

Jeremy had to come test it out too.

And give Kaeden a ride.

Lets just say the slide got plenty of use before the party had even started. Once people started arriving the party was on and all the kids were on the slide along with some of the grown ups too. Here's Madison coming down the slide while Dylan, Connor, and Makayla make the trip up the ladder to go down again.

The heat knocked Jarett out. This is how he spent the first half of the party.

We all had pizza for lunch and then Kaeden was dying to cut in to his cake so we went ahead and did that. He got an Iron Man 2 cake this year and thought it was the coolest cake ever.

Dylan was all about the icing!

Madison's cheesy (or should I say cakey) grin. :)

Sweet Leighton.

All the kids were really in to Jarett's bouncy seat. Makayla is the only one that I managed to get a picture of but Jackson was in it first and Ian was in it at one point too. I wish my own kid were that in to it. ;)

My dad's catching a little snuggle time with J after his lunch.

Had to get a little shot of Jarett and Leighton together. They are just 5 days apart (she's older) but look so much different than that. She's a petite little thing and Jarett's, well, not. He weighed 11 lbs 8 oz at 5 weeks old and she was 9 lbs 2 oz at her 1 month visit. Granted he had a bit of a head start anyway but still its funny to see the difference in size.

So the party was a hit, everyone had a great time. Thank you to everyone who came and for all the wonderful gifts. Kaeden will be occupied for months.
The day ended with Kaeden giving me a huge hug and saying "Mommy this was the best birthday party ever. Thank you so much! You're the BEST Mom." Hearing him say those kinds of things makes it all worth it. Love that kid to pieces!

What a fun party! We got the bounce house for Layla's bday and she was in it from the time they set it up until they came to take it away pretty much. Also I just took that little dinosaur outfit out of TF's closet and packed it away. Sooo sad. I loved it!
What a perfect day for his party! The bounce slide looks like a lot of fun, and the perfect way to keep all the kids entertained. Both of your boys are adorable. Happy birthday to K-man!
Love the "thumbs up" photo, and a great shot of Kaed and Dylan together. It was really a fun party. And great weather too. Looks like a proud grandpa holding that baby!
