A Week of Randoms.

This should probably be broken up in to a couple of posts but I don't feel like it.

Jarett is 3 months old as of September 2nd and getting more and more in to his environment and the things going on around him. He loves standing up in our laps and talking to Daddy when he gets home from work each day.

Kaeden has been asking me forever to get him a butterfly garden. I finally ordered it and it arrived about 2 weeks ago. I then had to order the butterfly larvae.. aka caterpillars that go with it. So the insects arrived earlier this week and we were both excited to get things started. Right now all we can do though is wait for them to fatten up and hang upside down from there little container.

They are getting pretty chubby in there now. Once they hang upside down we have to move them into the 'garden' until they turn in to butterflies. I'm excited to see the transformation.

Kaeden is still riding the bus and loving it. I also really enjoy our walks to and from the bus stop. It's a nice time to talk to him about his day. Plus getting out and walking up there in the morning is nice way to get me going for the day. Jarett enjoys riding in the stroller much more than the carseat. Usually he's ready for a nap by the time we get back home in the morning as well as in the afternoons. Here he is just chillin' out waiting on Kaeden one afternoon.

Earlier this week we went to my friend Kristy's house to visit with her and her girls. 3 week old Sam was just precious. She's still smaller than Jarett was when he was born so she felt so tiny in my arms! I wish I could have gotten more pictures of her. Hopefully soon though.

Dare was there too with baby Ryder in the belly and her little girl Avery. I just love her curls and her attitude. I have no idea where she gets either of those. ;)

It was great to see my friends this week. Its been quite an adjustment going back to work while still juggling all the household stuff plus Kaeden starting school so it was nice to just relax with them for a couple of hours.

Oh he's so cute with his little grin! It's so amazing how much they change in those first couple months... love his big blue eyes!

Love them all, the little hands he's discovered, and listening to Daddy so intently. Dare's daughter is beautiful. What's going on with the butterflies?
