Pumpkin shopping

on sunday we went to a nearby church that was having a pumpkin sale. i'd been procrastinating on buying a pumpkin so i finally did it since halloween is literally right around the corner. kaeden was so excited to see all the pumpkins, or 'pums' as he calls them. he was running around like a mad man.

i managed to get a couple of decent shots of him posing on the hay pile. he was loving the 'baby pum'.




we had no idea there was going to be a tractor there for hay rides! kaed's in love with tractors so that was definitely his favorite part. he loved looking at the huge tires and he kept asking if he could drive it. we decided to take the $.50 hay ride around the field and kaeden loved every minute of it! i thought he was going to pitch a fit when it was over but he did really well and just told the tractor 'bye-bye'.

oh, and on a photograhy side note... it was VERY grey and overcast sunday and i just love the way the dark sky is contrasting with the red tractor in this first pic. it reminds me of the wizard of oz for some reason!



overall is was a fun little trip! kaeden is now carrying his little pumpkins all over the house.
