I really need to get with the program. I don't have a single picture on my camera. I do have tons on my phone. I guess it's just more convenient. Good thing I have cool apps on my phone for some pictures and photoshop for the others. These pics start at the very end of June and go through the beginning of August. I'd say I'll try to do better with real pictures but school is starting for Kaeden AND myself so they'll be no guarantees!
I'm sad that we haven't taken as many trips to the beach as I'd have liked to this summer. We've gone about 3 times. It's just too much work with Jarett. He's not the kid that sits and plays in the sand and eats his lunch. No, he's the kid that RUNS all over and tries to drown himself in the ocean. Of course, these pictures don't portray that. lol.
Kaeden still really loves the beach and I felt bad for him that we couldn't stay longer.
On July 7th Kaeden lost his 2nd tooth. Love it. Don't love how crooked his adult teeth are growing in. I'm praying they'll straighten themselves out.
Jarett had his one year visit at the pediatrician. He was actually 13 months though. He was sick at his 12 month appt time so we waited to give him his shots. He's growing so fast. 50% for weight and 80% for height.
We've had a problem with wasps on our back porch for a long time. We spray, they go away, then they come back. Well, he recently took down the light fixtures from out there and hung fans. Guess we know where the wasps were hiding.
We broke down and bought a Dyson. The pet hair around here is just crazy and I never felt like my vacuum was doing the job. This was just the bedroom and I had JUST vacuumed with the old one that same morning. Needless to say, best money ever spent!
My sweet boys. I just love when I catch them being sweet to one another.
Kaeden got this firetruck tent for Christmas several years back and its just been in the closet. I broke it out recently and it was a hit.
Jeremy got a smoker. Now he's obsessed with smoking meat. It's yummy!
One night Jeremy fell asleep on the couch and I guess Kaeden woke up at some point and decided to join him. I just thought it was cute so I took a picture.
Jarett loves donuts.
Kaeden got his face painted at a birthday party. He also tripped and fell and busted his face.
I took the kids to the Hands on Children's Museum. Kaeden has always loved that place since he was about 2 years old. Jarett's a little too young to really understand it all but he liked just running around like a maniac.
Bathtime has become quite interesting. I have to stay back to prevent getting soaked. It's like I'm in the splash zone at Seaworld.
Jarett has discovered how to climb. So he does. On everything. As if he didn't keep me busy enough.
And now he can climb up on the couch. And up to the top bunk of Kaeden's bed. Yay.
Laundry baskets continue to provide hours of entertainment.
