This year Easter was my holiday to work so since I wouldn't be able to celebrate on Sunday the family decided we'd do all the festivities on Saturday instead. Jeremy's mom always does an easter egg hunt at her house along with dinner. Jeremy's cousin Chanel and her fiance Rick were in town from Boca Raton. It was great to meet them and hang out by the pool for the afternoon.
Jarett likes the water so far. Although, I think he'll do better once the water gets to be a little bit warmer.

Kaeden couldn't care less about the temperature, however. He was all about it and I was happy to see that he didn't lose all his swimming skills since last summer. He's still doing really well. He had water wings on for this picture though since he was jumping in to the deep end and it scares me.

Before dinner we had the egg hunt. There were eggs hidden just for Kaeden and then some just for Jarett as well. Kaed is an old pro and even found a special egg with $5 in it. :)

Jarett got the hang of it pretty quickly too and found about 3 of his own eggs.

After the kids went it was the grown up's turn. Jeremy and I had competition other than each other this year though and we got our booties whooped. After that it was time for a yummy dinner and then Easter baskets for the kids.

These sing-a-ma-jigs are the strangest little things.

Jarett got this little wind up bunny in his basket. He liked it until it started moving.

K's basket #2

Silly Dad.

For me :)

And my attempt at a shot of the boys together. I was actually impressed that I got one this good. They're nuts.

Phew. Long Day. Fun Day. Happy Easter!
