Leave it to my friend Megan to inspire me to do yet another little photo project. This year and last she has done a blog post summing up each month of the past year in pictures. I just loved the idea and decided to do one for myself.
January
I was about halfway through my pregnancy and still feeling good.

Kaeden became addicted to the Nintendo DS that he got for Christmas.

I ordered my first blog book from Blurb and decided I'd be doing this every year as a way to scrapbook our family's memories.

And we took walks on the beach in the cooler weather. I was enjoying spending some time with just me and Kaeden since I knew it wouldn't be that way much longer.

February
Jeremy built his own cornhole boards.

Our nephew, Jackson turned 1 and I turned ummmm.... thirty-something. ;)

March
In March the belly, and belly button, got big.

We dyed eggs and kind of decided on the name Jarett.

Kaeden got his first girlfriend, Savannah.

We visited Washington Oaks State Park and I fell in love with it.

April
We celebrated Easter with the Cox clan hunting for eggs and hitting the beach.

We revamped the backyard.

And played with friends.

May
I must have quit taking pictures in May because I was so big and pregnant.

We finished Jarett's nursery though.

And Jeremy turned 32 on Memorial Day.

June
On the 2nd day of June we welcomed Jarett into the world and we all fell in love.

He was still squishy.

Kaeden graduated from pre-K a few days later.

He wasn't too sure about all the crying going on.

Jarett had his first playdate with Leighton.

Jeremy had his first Father's Day.

And Blankie was ruined by silly putty.

July
The 4th was J's first holiday and we set off some fireworks and did sparklers.

Jarett started smiling.

Kaeden started really enjoying being a big brother.

My baby turned 5!

Kaeden took swim lessons and finally got over his fear of deep water. He ventured off the steps for the first time and started to LOVE swimming.

August
I took my most favorite picture ever.

Jarett started showing some personality.

He found (and forgot about) his thumb.

It was really hot. We broke out the slip 'n slide.

And Kaeden started Kindergarten.

September
K started riding the bus and it was wonderful.

Jarett started playing with toys.

We grew butterflies.

Jarett found his hands.

And had lots of playdates with Leighton.

October
We had a lovebug invasion.

We went to the cornmaze in Elkton.

Boba Fett and Bat Baby had a fun halloween.

November
They could actually play with each other finally.

Kaeden finished his 2nd season of soccer.

We had Thanksgiving dinner with the whole family but I only took pics of my kids.

Jarett started sitting up on his own and we were proud.

December
Jarett turned 6 months old and I finally took some 'official' pictures of him.

We put up our tree.

Jarett's temper came out.

I took Christmas pics of Leighton and fell in love with this little out take.

I did my first 12 Days of Christmas project.

And we had a hectic but amazing Christmas as a family of four.

It's been fun going back through all of the highlights from 2010. It has been an incredible year and I can't wait to see what new memories we make in 2011.
Happy New Year!!
