The Cox's do Jacksonville.

Last week Jeremy's Uncle Tony and Aunt Jennifer and their 3 kids came to visit from Kentucky for the week. It was Alex's 9th birthday and Jennifer's last week of summer before she had to start preparing for school to start as she returns to teaching middle school this year. Its always a blast when they come to visit and we only wish that they lived a little closer. The kids all have so much fun together and the adults do to. We also got a bonus visiter when Aunt Lisa decided she'd take the trip down with them as well.

I didn't bring the camera out too often this visit because I was too busy just enjoying the time with them. Our days were spent mostly hanging out by the pool during the day and then all eating dinner together in the evenings. One particular evening proved a bit challenging when it started to poor just as we started grilling. Tony handled the 'extreme grilling' like a champ though.

The pool got put to use all day long and even in to the evenings. All the kids thought it was so fun to swim at night. Although, I'm not sure who was having more fun, the adults or the kids. :)

She got a new chair for her room and this cool feathered zebra print pillow to go with it. :)

Sam really enjoyed his piece of birthday cake.

On the evenings that it wasn't raining (which wasn't many) we enjoyed the nice weather on the pool deck and drank many a Heine. lol.

Jennifer enjoying a cold one.

Lisa talking to her brother on the phone. Her expression here fits her personality to a T. This was my first time meeting her and I just love her to death.

Jeremy's dad being silly for the camera... and of course I don't have a picture of his wife because she always runs from the camera or puts her hand over her face. Boo.

And a very serious Sam showing me his little scratch, courtesy of Sparky.

And just to prove that Jacob was alive and well here he is with Kaeden just chillin in the house. Jacob managed to skate under my camera the majority of the time, as did my own little guy.

Well I think that'll do it. We hope to see you all again soon. We had so much fun with you here!
