Summer

The days have been really hot, the afternoons stormy, and the evenings a little cooler.

This weather makes for great grillin' out... Last night we had salmon. I love that Kaeden actually loves this for dinner. Kinda makes up for the fact that he hates veggies.

Lots of rain makes for lots of froggy noise. At our last house we had a lizard colony. These days we are in frog heaven. I swear there must be hundreds of them and when it rains they are LOUD! This little guy was on our window as we were eating breakfast this morning.

I love some stormy weather every now and then we get them almost daily in the summer. Every day is a little too often for me but I do enjoy them. Today when we went to get the mail the sky was crazy dark so I had to snap a picture. Unfortunately this picture doesn't really do it justice.

By the time we got back to our house it was pouring rain. ;)
