Happy Birthday Jeremy!

Saturday was Jeremy's 30th birthday and I had been planning a surprise party for him that night. Its been about a month in the works and it went off without a hitch. We spent the day just running around. My parents came over and gave him his gifts. We also had to get me a new phone so we took care of that as well. Then we went and hung out with his parents for a bit. I told him that we were just going to go to dinner with Keri and Lyndon and that they were going to meet us at our house around 6:30.

They got there and we all just hung for a bit, drank a beer or two. Lyndon kept Jeremy occupied outside so Keri and I managed to sneak two of the couples inside. We stuck them in Kaeden's room till we were ready. When we brought Jeremy inside everyone jumped up from behind the bar and surprised him. Another couple got there a few minutes later for another little surprise. That's it in a nutshell. :)

There was a total of 10 people and it was the perfect group!

Of course, the night couldn't be completely perfect. We started noticing that it was rather warm in the house. We just figured it was from all the people and going in and out to the backyard. We cranked the AC down some but it didn't do anything. It just kept getting warmer in the house! NOT a good time for the AC to go out on us. It was getting pretty stuffy and the kids were miserable. Luckily, we got a hold of Keri's dad, Mark, and he was kind enough to come over and investigate the problem. After 2 hours of ALL the guys fixing the AC, we were finally back in to cooler air. We really can't thank him enough for coming all the way out to our house at 9:00 at night!

Without further ado, here are the few pictures I managed to get throughout the night. Not a ton as I was having too much fun. :)

Just hanging out at the bar. :P

Mark arrives to save the night. :)

I tried to get a shot of all the guys surrounding the AC unit but there is a huge bush there and my flash didn't go off. Oh well.

Blowing out his candles. The cake was supposed to look like a bullseye target since Jeremy loves to shoot guns. It didn't come out the way I pictured it but Jeremy got the drift. Although he did say it kinda looked like a boob. lol.
Me and the birthday boy. <3

Yesterday was spent redeeming ALL the gift cards he got to Shooters. He ended up using all the money towards a new gun. Thank you everyone for the generous gift cards and for being a part of the surprise.

And thanks to those of you (especially Keri) who helped me plan and sneak around for the last month or so. I couldn't have pulled it off without you. You're the best!
