These are the kind of faces I get when I ask him to please look at the camera. Cute, but not what I had in mind. I wanted him to look up at the sky... didn't quite happen.
Another one just playing with the self timer. I can't seem to get it to focus where I want. ???
And one of the gladiola blooming out back. (at least I think thats what its called)

I love that first one! Even if his little eyes are squeezed shut. ;) As far as the self timer and focusing goes... I haven't been able to figure it out except to have one of my kids sitting where I want it focused and then just making sure I have my AP closed enough for us all to be in focus... I wish there was an easier way.
yeah, the self timer thing is a little tricky. the best thing to do is what meghan said, have something in the place where you want it to focus. it's hard to get it perfect though. like the one sp i did with the picture frame in it was great because i just focused on the frame. this is def. where a remote control would come in handy!!!
