Trucks and Dirt and Worms... OH MY!

Well between work, play, and the internet being down, I haven't been able to post in a while. I have been taking pictures though and I have plenty to share!

This weekend was spent just hanging out and doing some work in the yard. I admit Jeremy did the majority of the work. I helped some but its just not my forte! We rented a sod cutter so Jer could cut out new flower beds for around the palms and plants. He also planted a couple of new palms.



Kaeden enjoyed watching Jeremy use the sod cutter and playing in the resulting dirt. He insisted on bringing out all his new 'diggers' that Grandmama bought him to play in the dirt.




And of course what would dirt be without a few worms. Kaeden kept finding them and he was so excited. He had to put them in the back of his trucks and push them around. Oh, and throw them at Mommy... yeah, nice!





We were out in the yard for hours and it was HOT! Kaeden was filthy so we headed inside for a bath. I had to snap one quick shot in the garage before we went inside. The light in there is amazing and the catchlights are to DIE for! Too bad he hardly lets me take any pictures where you can SEE his eyes!



We still have some work to do yet... laying more lava rock and planting some flowers but the yard is looking quite tropical and we're very happy with it!
