Jarett is 17 months old today. He weighs about 25 pounds (50%) and is 33 inches tall (85%). He runs everywhere. He tries to jump but his feet don't leave the ground. He can climb anything he can get a grip on and just last week climbed out of his crib at Jeremy's parent's house. He likes to dance and loves to be sung to. He can sing the first 5 letters of his ABC's. He's not a fan of napping and only does it when HE wants to and it's usually not for long. He still goes to bed around 7 and gets up around 7. He loves hide and seek and playing chase.

He's obsessed with light switches and buttons and will drive you nuts until you let him play with them. He's loves dogs and cats. He points out every baby he sees. He tells us when he has to poop most of the time and will go on the potty. However, if he has to go first thing when he wakes up or during nap time I usually miss him saying it and he goes in his diaper. We're encouraging it though and hoping he'll be ready to fully potty train within the next couple of months. No rush but we'll follow his lead.
He's saying over 100 words now. I only know the number because at 14 months I started recording all the new words he was learning. It became a habit to just keep up with the list. I stopped at 100 a couple of weeks ago. It's insane how much he talks and how little of a communication barrier we have. I understand pretty much everything he says and can count on him to tell me exactly what he needs.
He is such a handful most of the time and makes my job quite challenging but he's a sweet baby. And he looooves his Mommy! Watching him learn and grow never gets old.
