I had my 38 week OB visit on Wednesday. I fully expected them to tell me I wasn't progressing at all and not to get to excited about an early delivery. Much to my surprise the doctor checked me and said I was already 3cm dilated, 80% effaced and his head is really low at -1 station. YAY! Doc says she'd be surprised to see me last another week. Too bad I know that doesn't really mean anything. Although I was very excited to here that my cervix was doing its job, I haven't gotten my hopes up about going in to labor any time soon. However, I did discuss with her how uncomfortable I've been lately and how much pelvic pain I've been having... hurts to do just about everything. Since my cervix is so favorable we've opted to be induced this coming Wednesday June 2 if I have not already gone in to labor. This would put me at 39 weeks when he's born, just like Kaeden (although I wasn't induced with him).

So we are very excited to have a set date now! We're counting down the days and getting all the last minute stuff in order. I'm so thankful that I only have on more day of work and that its a half day. Work has been really hard on me physically for the last week or so and I don't think I could take another whole week of it. ;)

We should be putting the final touches on the nursery today so I'll post some pics of that later. Just gotta put his name on the wall and hang some wall shelves and that's it. Oh and paint the ottoman.

Before I go I have to share a cute on of Kaed during his 'bideo game time'. He only gets 30 minutes or so per day to play whatever kind of game he wants, either on the computer or on the wii/playstation/nintendo. This day he had chosen cartoon network on the laptop.
